Restylane® and Perlane® for Facial Wrinkles, Deep Grooves & Thinning Lips

Restylane® and Perlane® consist of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance already present in the body.
Treatment is quick and easy, usually lasting about 30 minutes. A tiny amount of Restylane® or Perlane® gel is injected into the skin using a very fine needle. With wrinkles, the gel volume lifts and smooths out the wrinkled skin. The extra volume lifts and smooths out wrinkles, and adds volume and shape to lips and facial contours.
Immediately afterwards, you can expect slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection, and generally disappears in a few days.

Sculptra® Facial Contouring

Photodynamic Therapy for Actinic Keratoses
Actinic keratoses (AKs) – small and noticeable red, brown or skin-colored patches that develop in sun-exposed skin – typically occur on the head, neck, and hands. Early treatment of AKs is recommended to stop their possible progression to squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer.
The most exciting current treatment of AKs is called Photodynamic Therapy, or PDT. Much like our acne control therapy, we use a special blue light, plus a photosensitizing agent – the Levulan® Kerastick® – o treat AKs. A typical side effects is the sensation of a mild sunburn, which clears up in a week or so.
Unlike other treatment options for AKs, PDT is safe, painless, and non-invasive. In one to three sessions of 10 to 15 minutes each, most patients see their AKs disappear – never to return!
